Mouneh Baytiye is known for its high-quality mouneh specialties, such as pickles, sumac, thyme, kishik, syrups and vinegars, dried bay leaves, dried lavenders, molokhiya (jute mallow), jams, stuffed eggplants, jarred grape leaves, jarred labneh balls, tomato sauces and sweet treats like cinnamon rolls. The business has its own shop and the enterprising owner, Mrs. Nada Al Khateeb, runs culinary and food decoration trainings for women-led initiatives. She also owns a farm that houses Armenian cucumbers in winter, beans, cherries and garlic in summer – all of which are used in mouneh production.
